The Hammer is a basic tool meant for carpentry and crafting rather than combat. With a low value of 50 silver, it is among the least effective weapons an adventurer could wield, providing minimal damage compared to dedicated melee gear.
While practically junk in Act I, the hammer will serve a greater purpose in Acts II and III, where tools become vital for construction and crafting. Until then, it’s mostly filler loot that can be sold or stored until its real function is introduced.
