The Parchment appears common and nearly worthless, with each sheet valued at just 1 silver. However, its true worth is revealed when trading with Lucius Valerius, the church Scribe. He will exchange a full stack of 10 parchments for a random semi-stack of 5 Scrolls.
Because scrolls are rare and powerful, adventurers often save parchments exclusively for these trades. Even unwanted scrolls can be sold for profit, making parchment one of the most deceptively valuable items in the game.
