The Pottery consists of simple clay jars found throughout dungeons, often stacked on shelves or scattered on tables. By itself, pottery is a low-value item, but it becomes crucial for the Crypt Keeper quest, which requires collecting 120 pieces.
Pottery may also find greater use in future crafting or alchemy systems, but even in Act I it is worth keeping due to its quest tie-in.
