Quickly evades melee or ranged attacks.
Dodge grants certain enemies the ability to roll quickly out of harm’s way. These evasive bursts don’t happen constantly, but when they do, they can make it seem like your attacks are being ignored. Enemies will often roll aside at the last moment, slipping free of a finishing blow, only to rejoin the fight a moment later.
Dodging usually occurs when an enemy’s health is already low, giving them a slim chance to recover and continue the battle. While there is no way to interrupt a dodge in motion, the recovery window afterward leaves them briefly exposed. Adventurers who stay alert can strike decisively once the roll ends, finishing the fight before another escape attempt can occur.
