The Bones item is a collectible quest item tied to the Bounty of Bones quest, the first quest of Act I. Adventurers must gather 50 bones to complete the objective.
Unlike many common items, bones hold value and can sometimes be purchased directly from merchants. Buying them in advance will still count toward the quest objective, making it possible to prepare before setting foot in a dungeon.
