The Hatchet is designed for chopping wood, not for battle. With a value of 50 silver, it falls short as a weapon, lacking the balance and strength of true axes. Though it can be swung in desperation, it is far inferior to actual combat gear.
In future Acts, the hatchet’s primary use will be for gathering wood and preparing materials for property upgrades. For now, it is easily found in dungeons or purchased cheaply from the General Merchant.
