The Lockpick is required to open locked treasure chests. Each lockpick is consumed when used, disappearing from your inventory once the chest is unlocked. While they carry little resale value, lockpicks are invaluable when hunting for loot. Treasure chests often contain Imbue Items, Potions, Scrolls, Armor, Weapons, or other valuable rewards—so every lockpick can mean the difference between walking away empty-handed or striking it rich.
Lockpicks can be found almost anywhere: lying on tables, tucked onto shelves, scattered on dungeon floors, inside breakable crates and barrels, or dropped as loot by defeated enemies. They are also sold by the General Vendor in the village hub for a very low price. Many adventurers collect them in large stacks, though it is sometimes wise to drop a few near the dungeon exit if you need to free space for more valuable items.
