Act I Quest 2 Mines & Caves
The second quest of Act I takes place in the Mines & Caves, an abandoned mining network of twisting shafts and cavernous halls. At the entrance you’ll find Varok Stonebreaker, who offers 4,000 silver for slaying 20 Orcs and bringing back 50 Rubies as proof of your triumph over the orcish obsession.
Those who venture deeper into the Mines & Caves will encounter a full host of creatures that have claimed the tunnels as their domain. Expect ambushes from Goblins, battles with warlike Orcs, the brute strength of Ogres, and the towering menace of Trolls. In the deeper caverns lurk Slime Fiends and the formidable Earth Golems, ensuring the mines remain perilous even for seasoned adventurers.
